Flower Pot Card

I've been wanting to make one of these cute little flower pot cards for awhile now. The instructions for creating the card are located here.

I decided to make this one for this week's challenge on the Paper Crafts forum on Creating Keepsakes. The challenge this week was to create a card with some type of movement. I think this qualifies since you pull the little card out of the pot to see the sentiment. The sentiment says "If I had a flower for every time I thought of you, I could walk in my garden forever." I printed it on the computer.

I wanted to use stamped flower images for my flowers rather than punched flowers. I decided to try these wild roses. These are actually digital stamps, which I downloaded from Mel Stampz. This is one awesome blog. In addition to a few digital images that she has for free, she also has tons of tutorials, templates and other goodies. I highly recommend you check it out.
You might notice that my flowers have no leaves. I tried, but they just weren't working for me here. I decided it looked better without leaves.

I found the digital stamps really fun and easy to use. I was concerned that the ink would run when I colored them, but it didn't. I used Prismacolor pencils blended with turpenoid. You would not be able to use any type of waterbased coloring though as that would cause the ink to run. I'm looking forward to finding additonal digital stamps to work with as well. They are very inexpensive and can be rotated, resized, etc., which makes them very versatile.
Thanks for checking out my card. It was fun and easy to put together. I think I'll make more sometime.
Supplies
Stamps: Wild Roses digital stamps (Mel Stampz); sentiment is computer generated
Paper: kraft cardstock (unknown); white cardstock (Georgia Pacific)
Embellishments: ribbon (unknown); D'Vine Swirls embossing folder (Cuttlebug); scallop border punch (Fiskars)
Technique: Prismacolor pencils blended with turpenoid
