Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge #79

Whew! Finally got my Mojo Monday card done. I rarely miss doing the Mojo sketch. They are always great layouts. Apparently I am not the only one who thinks so. So far 209 other people have done the sketch challenge this week! This week's sketch is fairly simple, but very versatile. I really like it and I'm sure you'll be seeing this layout again in the future.

Once again, I opted to try a different color combination from my usuals. I have been afraid to use yellow and black together because I think it will just look like a big bumblebee, but I decided to try it anyway. I did use some white in there too and also used a more muted shade of yellow. I like it. I also decided to pull out one of my favorite stamps that I haven't use for a long, long time. I guess I've been too busy playing with my mice, bunnies and hedgehogs. :)

I'm not sure it's the scanner or what, but my cards look fine in person, then when I post them everything looks crooked. My friend Patti gave me some tips for taking pictures and also told me how to make a light box that I can take pictures in. I got the supplies, but haven't had time to put it together yet. Hopefully, when I get that stuff figured out, my pictures will start looking like they are supposed to.

Thanks for checking out my latest creation! Hope you'll stop by again soon.

It looks great, doesn't look like a bumble bee at all! That image is so pretty!

Just beautiful, and I think the colour scheme with the soft yellow works really well.

Judy I love your card!! I really think this turned out exceptional!!

Good luck on your light box : ) I love mine but am beginning to feel without the proper lighting I should stop taking pictures!! I often have to take my pictures at night so even with the box my colors aren't just right - ya need good lighting! : )

Great card!! Thank you for sharing.

when your card is lumpy, it skews the scan because the card won't lie flat on the scanner bed. am I being way too elementary?

love the card! too cute!

and wahhh, I miss you all. wish CKMB would get it together.
