I also made this card for a Merry Go Round swap that I am hosting. In a Merry Go Round swap, each participant sends enough copies of one image for each person in the swap. The images are sent to the participants to make cards. The completed cards are then sent back to the person who submitted the image so that they have a card from each other person made with their image. This image was sent by my friend Lucy. I hope she likes the card I made with it. :0)
I like this sketch. It's simple and I could easily adapt it to the A2 card size, which I had to use since it's for a swap. I don't make very many A2 cards anymore. I seem to be more comfortable with 6" square and A7 size now. Making the smaller size can be a little challenging for me in itself.
If you enjoy using the House Mouse, Happy Hopper and Gruffies images, I encourage you to check out the House Mouse and Friends challenge blog. It seems to me that participation in the challenge has been a little low lately. I'd love to see more people participatng. It's a really fun challenge.
Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy the rest of your holiday weekend!
